hi,

i have a hp envy 5640 and print a lot of greeting cards. When i go to print a card now the printer does not automatically catch the paper when 1 side has printed and automatically feed the paper for the reverse side to be printed.i never had any problem with this before. Now when one side has printed the machine stops and i have to manually take the printed side out and feed it back in for the reverse side to be printed. thanks, john

Duplex unit attached to the printer? (Model Dependent)

If there is a Duplexer unit attached to the back of the printer, consider re-seating (removing/replacing) the Duplexer box. If you do remove the duplexer, take a moment to check inside the printer cavity for tiny stuck paper bits – while stuck paper would normally result in a “paper jam” error, the condition might generate problems with printing duplex.
