Hi Harvest 15,
The error code you have is an indication of an internal problem with the printer.
The best thing you can do is try resetting the printer using the instructions in this document.
If resetting works - the printer will clear the error and continue to work.
If the error continues you will need to contact HP Customer Support to replace the unit. If the printer is out of warranty it may have to be replaced.
I have also heard some success from removing the ink cartridges cleaning the contacts and re-inserting.
Beyond these steps - I'm not aware of any way to resolve these error conditions.
I hope resetting clears it up.

Hey, while this probably won't help op, I ended up getting this message and the problem was that the ink cartridge mount was stuck and would not slide left to right (though I could not find anything obstructing it). I forced it by hand to about the middle and now the printer is working again. If your under warrenty probably best to follow the instruction given by the first post and if that does not work send it in for a replacement since I don't know if something that would void the warrenty. If your no longer covered by your warrenty though like me you don't really have anything to lose by giving it a try.
