Getting error code 0x80070005 when trying to print. Signed up for HP INstant Ink about 1 week ago. Printer is HP connected and is set up to my home router's wi-fi. Please tell me how to fix this. Troubleshooter can't find or fix it.

Welcome to the HP Forums!
It is a dynamite place to find answers and information!
I understand that you are getting a 0x80070005 error on your HP Officejet 5740 printer.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
- Do you have any yellow question or exclamation mark next to network adapter in device manager?
- Have you made any recent changes to the computer prior to the issue?
You may perform the steps mentioned below and check if it helps.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector and printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
Type %temp% in the run field, and click OK.
Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
Open folder Util
Open folder CCC
Run the uninstall_ L4.bat
When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to bring up the run menu.
Type %programfiles% in the run field and click OK.
Delete any HP/Hewlett Packard folders.
Download full feature driver from the HP Support website and install it.
Here is a download link for the printer driver:- https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/oj5740/OJ5740_Full_WebPack_40.11.1135.exe
If this helps, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others and please give the same post a Kudos for my efforts to help.
Take care and have a blessed week ahead.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers.
