Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand you are getting this error on the printer screen. To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- When was the last time it worked fine?
- What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried so far?
- Have you made any hardware/software changes?
While you respond to that, let's try these steps:
Reset the printer, and then turn off IPv6 through the Setup menu on the control panel.
Step 1: Reset the printer
To temporarily clear the error, reset the printer.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the power source.
-
Wait 60 seconds.
-
Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.
NOTE: HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Step 2: Turn off IPv6
Use the control panel to turn off the IPv6 setting.
-
From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup
.
-
Touch Network Setup, and then touch Advanced Settings.
-
Turn off IPv6, and then touch Yes to confirm.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
