Hi @Izabela02,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your HP OfficeJet 8013 printer. The error code 71.02.4A typically indicates a problem with the ink system. Since you mentioned that you followed the steps related to the error and are now facing a cartridge error, let's try troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord, and wait for about 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on. Check if the cartridge error persists.
Reinstall the Cartridges: Ensure that the cartridges are correctly installed. Open the printer cover, remove the cartridges, and then reinstall them securely. Make sure you hear a click when installing each cartridge.
Check for Protective Tape: Ensure that there is no protective tape or seal on the cartridges. Sometimes, new cartridges come with protective tape that needs to be removed before installation.
Inspect for Damage: Check the cartridges for any visible damage. If you find any damaged cartridges.
Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up-to-date. You can visit the HP Support website, search for your printer model, and download the latest firmware update.
Clean Cartridge Contacts: Turn off the printer and unplug it. Remove the cartridges and clean the electrical contacts with a lint-free cloth. Be gentle and avoid touching the nozzles.
Perform a Hard Reset: Disconnect the power cord from the printer while it is still on. Wait for 60 seconds, then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
