Hi @TWPSecretary,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the error code B8047DF6 on an HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 printer typically indicates a problem related to the printer's hardware, firmware, or a specific internal error. Here's a step-by-step guide on what you can do to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

1. Restart the Printer

Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve the issue.

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

2. Check for Firmware Updates Update the firmware on an HP printer

Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date.

  • Go to the HP Support website.
  • Enter your printer model (HP OfficeJet Pro 9025).
  • Download and install any available firmware updates.

3. Reset the Printer

Performing a factory reset can sometimes clear persistent errors.

  • On the printer's control panel, go to Settings.
  • Navigate to Printer Maintenance or Tools.
  • Select Restore or Restore Factory Defaults.
  • Confirm the reset. Note that this will reset all settings to default, so you may need to reconfigure your printer settings afterward.

4. Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions

Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.

  • Open all accessible areas of the printer (input tray, output tray, cartridge access area).
  • Remove any jammed paper or foreign objects.
  • Close all covers securely.

5. Inspect and Reinstall Ink Cartridges

Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges to ensure they are seated correctly.

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove each ink cartridge and inspect it for damage.
  • Reinsert the cartridges firmly into their respective slots.
  • Close the ink cartridge access door.

I hope this helps.
