The C000022 error code on your HP DeskJet 2855e seems to be related to a driver installation issue or a Windows permission error. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

 

1. Check Printer Permissions

  • Ensure you have administrator privileges on your computer.
  • Right-click the HP Smart App or printer setup file and select Run as Administrator.

 

2. Update Printer Drivers

  • Visit HP’s official support page and download the latest drivers for your printer.
  • Install the drivers manually and restart your computer.

 

3. Disable Antivirus & Firewall Temporarily

  • Some security software can block printer installation.
  • Disable your antivirus and firewall, then try installing the printer again.

 

4. Perform a Clean Boot

  • Press Win + R, type msconfig, and hit Enter.
  • Go to the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services, then click Disable all.
  • Restart your computer and try installing the printer.
