I have an Office Jet 6950 showing Error Code OXB8355BFA.  Can anybody help please?

Error code OXB8355BFA on the HP Office Jet 6950 printer indicates an issue with the ink system. This error code can appear due to a few different reasons such as low ink levels, ink cartridges not installed correctly, or an issue with the printhead.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this error.

 

  • Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, wait for 60 seconds, and then turn it back on. This may help to reset the printer and resolve the error.
  • Check ink levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges have enough ink. If the ink level is low, replace the cartridge.
  • Reinstall ink cartridges: Take out the ink cartridges and reinstall them making sure that they are correctly seated.
  • Clean the printhead: Printhead issues may cause the error code to appear. Try cleaning the printhead to clear any clogs or debris. Refer to your printer manual for instructions on how to clean the printhead.
  • Update the firmware: Check for any firmware updates and install them if available. This may help resolve any software issues that could be causing the error.
