Hi @bamboo40,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code "OXB97BD37C" on your HP OfficeJet 4650 series printer usually indicates a hardware or firmware issue.
\Here are some steps you can try to resolve this error:
Power Cycle the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Update Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support website and check for firmware updates for your OfficeJet 4650 series printer.
- If there is a firmware update available, download and install it following the instructions provided.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Make sure there are no paper jams inside the printer. Even a small piece of torn paper can cause issues.
Inspect for Obstructions:
- Check the printer's paper path and ink cartridge area for any obstructions. Sometimes foreign objects can cause this error.
Reset the Printer:
- To perform a partial reset, turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord.
- Press and hold the "#" and "3" buttons on the printer control panel.
- While holding these buttons, reconnect the power cord.
- Continue holding the buttons for about 20 seconds and then release them.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty or expired. Replace any empty or expired cartridges.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
