Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I cannot print on one PC, but I can print from two other laptops.

On the PC, which is really the most important device, depending on what I am trying to print, the error is-

- there is no printer installed

- components are missing

- spooling error, or

-configuration problem

I ran the HP printer doctor, restarted the spooling, installed the driver again, and took every remedial step that any software told me to take. I ran virus scans and updates. The best  I can do is print an occasional test page. Can someone help me, please?

Hi, I tried to uninstall and reinstall, I didn't quite go as far as you suggest. But, the one thing that worked was that i right clicked on the printer icon and ran "troubleshoot".

Welcome to the HP support community.

Did you uninstall the printer driver from the root level?

If not, follow the below steps:-

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • Restart the PC again.

Download and install printer full feature driver

I hope that helps.
