Hi @PurpleMamba,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The "Printhead error" with the error code "Oxc19a0003" on an HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 printer indicates a problem with the printhead or the ink system. This error can be caused by various issues, such as a printhead failure, clogged printhead nozzles, low or empty ink cartridges, or communication errors between the printer and the cartridges.

To troubleshoot and resolve this error, you can try the following steps.

Restart the Printer: Power off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 1-2 minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn on the printer and see if the error clears.

Check Ink Cartridges: Make sure that your ink cartridges have sufficient ink levels and are not expired. If the ink levels are low or empty, replace the cartridges with new, genuine HP ink cartridges.

Clean Printhead: The printhead may be clogged, causing the error. To clean it, follow these steps: a. On the printer's control panel, go to "Setup" or "Tools." b. Look for the "Clean Printhead" option and select it. c. The printer will initiate the printhead cleaning process. Follow any on-screen prompts. d. After the cleaning is complete, try printing a test page to see if the error is resolved.

Reset the Printer: Sometimes, a simple reset can fix various issues. Perform a reset by following these steps:

a. Power off the printer.

b. Disconnect the power cable from the printer and from the wall outlet.

c. Wait for about 60 seconds.

d. Plug the power cable back into the wall outlet and the printer.

e. Turn on the printer and check if the error persists.

Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. Visit the official HP website, enter your printer model, and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to update the printer's firmware.

Printhead Replacement: If the error persists after trying the above steps, there might be a hardware issue with the printhead.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
