Hi all,

I have replaced the printer cartridge but still the red exclamation mark flashes.

According to the printer report, a problem has occured and the printer is unable to print until the issue is resolved.

I have checked my HP account for more information but I was unable to find more specific information.

Thanks a lot for any clue that might help.

All the best,

How to reset the printer

  1. Switch off the printer
  2. Press the red X button and the down arrow button and keep them pressed for the next few steps
  3. Click the power button and hold down those two button till it resets

The user manual shows a list of error codes that can be obtained.  Can you tell me what they indicate?  That is best way to find the problem.

Thank you for your reply. I pressed the red X button and the down arrow button and switched the printer on.

The printer does not reset. The exclamation mark is still flashing.

The error code seems to be somithing like AU but instead of an A it is an inverted U.

Thank you for your help.
