i've CONSISTENTLY been sold NUMEROUS printers from this brand that have not worked at all. all support has suggested ridiculous things like fiddling with the registry, and uninstalling and reinstalling numerous times. i've spent nearly $100 and probably at least 12 hours trying to get two different printers from hp to work

walmart is not accepting a return, and told me to call the manufacturer. it was frankly an insult to waste my time on the phone calling the number only for them to say "we'll send your phone a link with a case number :)"

so give me a stupid case number so i can hopefully get my issue resolved please

yeah, if you call the customer service line, it will tell you "have your case number ready. we'll text you a link to online support and if none of those troubleshooting steps work then you'll get a case number and we'll talk to you" (paraphrased but the sentiment is literal)

hence, i want a case number to even be able to speak with an official representative

the link provided to get any support does not help me. i don't want tech support. i want to be able to return a faulty product that was sold to me. i've already done hours and hours worth of troubleshooting. this is the SECOND faulty machine that hp has sold me, i've not found a single answer that worked to get either printer working, and that implies it's a widespread problem and hp knows it. it's even more suspicious the hoops i'm having to jump through just to talk with an agent over the phone
