1/1/24 Happy New Year everyone!
Let me say at the gate, that I don't fair well with technology, comutes and such. I'm 74 and just really got involved at home computer and such 8 years ago. Yester day I was trying to print out some documents and I got a message that my printer was not connected to the Internet. I was mildly surprised as I had not printed for almost two weeks. I knew how to re connect but when I put my password in message password is incorrect. I have had that password since my daughter was in college and she 41 now! I tried again. I noticed about a dozen networds were near me( I guess that how you say) I just tried toed get a chat cgoing to see what can be done and got knoced out and when i tried to get back in I found myself on this page. Yes, it's an HP printer , Yes I am sure of the password and Wifi name( both I can't forget.) I am finished? Becaue i am "locked" out. Suddenly thre is a blue light blinking. when this happened last summer, I reach an HP rep right away and she fixed it quite quickly. Now my printer is held hostage. I tried the steps that were advised, but to no avail. Sorry to be so long winded I'n upset becaue other technical difficulties that are occuring. Can anyone else help. I was printing wirelessly ( from iphone( also rendered disabled)

If your password has been hacked you could try resetting to defaults and reconnecting. See this article https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printers-Knowledge-Base/Wi-Fi-connection-is-lost-after-router-or-netwo...
