Hi @JMathews,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code 0xc6fd0713 on an HP printer typically indicates a hardware or firmware issue. Here are some general steps you can try to resolve the problem.
- Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 60 seconds. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This simple step can sometimes resolve temporary issues.
- Update Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your HP printer. You can visit the official HP website, go to the support section, and search for your printer model. If there is an updated firmware version, follow the instructions to install it.
- Reset the Printer: Try performing a reset on the printer. The steps for resetting can vary depending on the model. Consult your printer's manual or HP's official website for specific instructions on how to reset your printer to its default settings.
- Check for Paper Jams: Make sure there are no paper jams or other obstructions in the printer. Sometimes, a paper jam can cause the printer to display error messages and disable functionality.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
