  • Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for 60 seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Update the printer firmware: Go to the HP support website, enter your printer model number, and download the latest firmware update for your printer. Follow the instructions to install the update.
  • Reset the printer: Press and hold the power button on the printer for at least 15 seconds to perform a hard reset.
  • Check for any obstructions or jams: Check the printer's paper path and other areas for any obstructions or jams. Remove any paper or debris that may be causing the error.
