Hi @Skipperlw,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand your printer settings might have gotten a bit mixed up. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and hopefully fix the issue:
- Check Printer Settings: First, make sure that your printer settings are configured correctly. Open the print dialog on your computer, select the HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 as the printer, and then click on "Printer Properties" or "Preferences." Look for any settings related to paper size, orientation, or scaling, and ensure they match the paper and layout you want.
- Restart Printer: Sometimes, simply turning the printer off and then back on again can resolve strange printing behavior. Give it a try by powering off the printer, waiting a minute, and then turning it back on.
- Reset Printer Preferences: If the issue persists, you might want to reset the printer preferences to their default settings. This will usually clear out any erroneous settings that may be causing the problem. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
- Update Printer Driver: Ensure that your printer driver is up to date. Sometimes outdated drivers can cause printing issues. You can usually download the latest driver from the HP website or through your computer's operating system update utility. Software and Drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 All-in-One Printer series
- Check for Firmware Updates: Similarly, check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Firmware updates can sometimes address bugs or compatibility issues that affect printing. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Test with Different Software: Try printing from a different program or application to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to one program or if it's a broader issue with the printer settings.
- Factory Reset: As a last resort, you could perform a factory reset on your printer. Keep in mind that this will erase all custom settings, so you'll need to reconfigure everything afterward.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
