Hi @Annaik,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

The error code OXC4EB8024 on your HP Envy 6220 could be related to a hardware issue, generally occurring after events like a paper jam. Here’s how you can attempt to resolve this error and update your printer firmware.

Steps to Fix Error Code OXC4EB8024:

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the wall outlet and the printer.
  • Turn on the printer.

Check for Firmware Update:

  • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page.
  • Enter your printer model (HP Envy 6220) and select it from the list.
  • Choose your operating system if necessary.
  • Look for any available firmware updates in the list of drivers. If available, download and follow the instructions to install the firmware update.

Reinsert the Cartridges:

  • Open the cartridge access door and wait for the carriage to become idle and silent.
  • Remove the cartridges and check for any obstructions in the carriage path.
  • Reinsert the cartridges into the carriage securely.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
