hp Officejet 5740 cover cannot close

does anyone have the solution for this issue, i was planning to change the ink boxes but cannot close the cover afterward. Thank you.

Let's try these steps:

• Remove the ink cartridges and check if you can close the cover/cartridge access door without the ink cartridges.
  • If you are able to close the cover without the cartridges, then the cartridges may not be seated correctly.
• Please ensure cartridges are properly locked and seated in the cartridge slots. You will hear a click 'noise' if it is securely locked.
• Refer to this video to know how to install the ink cartridges from this link(Cartridge installation starts at 02:45 in this video).
