Hi @MarkWaco

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your HP Envy Photo 7155 is stuck on the loading screen with no response, even when connected via USB. Let’s try some troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue:

Step 1: Perform a Power Drain

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Remove the ink cartridges and set them aside.
  3. Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  4. Wait for 30 seconds, then plug the printer back into the wall (not a surge protector) and turn it on.
  5. Reinsert the cartridges and check if the screen responds.

Step 2: Check for Firmware Issues

  1. If the printer powers on but remains stuck, visit the HP Printer Firmware page.
  2. Download and install the latest firmware update for the HP Envy Photo 7155.
  3. Restart the printer after the update and check if the issue is resolved.

Step 3: Inspect the Printer Hardware

  1. Open the printer’s access door and check for any obstructions or debris inside.
  2. Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and the carriage moves freely.
  3. If the printer has been moved recently, verify that all internal components are securely in place.

Step 4: Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for 2 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  3. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset:
    • Access the printer’s Settings menu (if accessible).
    • Navigate to Printer Maintenance > Restore Defaults.

Let me know how it goes or if you need further guidance! 😊
