hp envy photo 7155 won't print in color

My printer won't print in color no matter what I try. It's almost as if the printer itself cannot access the color ink cartridge. I know it's not my computer because the printer can't make a color copy and no other computer/device can print in color. I know the cartridge is brand new and is full of ink. Please send troubleshooting tips on how I can fix this!

 I'd like to help!

To better assist you - 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

1. On the control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setupicon.

2. Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further. 

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer -  Print Quality Issues 

 Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

the printer status report prints in color but there is no color option offered when I go to print a color file from the computer

 May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

What is the operating system on your computer?
