Thank you for joining HP Community!
Could you please help me with the exact model name or the product number of the printer?
How is the printer connected to the device USB or wireless?
Where do you see the error message on the printer or computer?
Keep me posted.
Have a great day!
Cheers:)

Terror code OXB8748646 appeared on the screen of my HP ENVY 4524. When I turn the printer on the screen illuminated for a while as does the on / off button but after a while both go out.
When the screen is lit it does not respond to touch controls so I am unable to do anything except print which is very slow. If I select PRINT and set my criteria from the PC the screen does illuminate during the process but goes out afterwards.
I am not technically minded in relation to using a PC to resolve issues so a simple solution description is essential.
Thanks in anticipation

Model HP ENVY 4524 all in one printer. Connected with USB.
The error message appeared on the printer touch screen yesterday but has not appeared today ~ this fault has affected the printer since Wednesday evening.

Thanks for joining HP Community!
I suggest you do a Hard Reset on the printer
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Update the firmware for the printer.

Restart the printer.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

Hi Raj1788.
Tried to follow your process - unfortunately the printer does not function as expected.
I was unable to turn the printer on (suspect button??) but the touch screen is lit but is blank and it's been like this for two days.
This morning I tried to switch the printer on and the same happened On / Off button not illuminated but the screen illuminated but blank. If I touch the On / Off button the screen image shows "Copy Scan Printables" options but they are not responding to touch, the On / Off button does not illuminate and the "?" to the left of the touch screen does not illuminate and the blue Wi-Fi light is off.
If I try and print a document from my PC that does work most of the time, but not always.
