I purchased this printer for my father, and it was working this morning to do a print job, but a couple hours later it was off.
I checked the outlet, unplugged power supply cord and held the power button to discharge any residual energy, let it stand for 1hr and tried plugging power supply back in, but still no power.
What can be done now?

Hi @Oceanstar13,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
Could be one of two problems. The power supply might be bad or the controller board might be bad. Based on experience, the power supply is the likely culprit and you may want to replace it if you can find an affordable part online.
Or I recommend you contact phone support for more details.
For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.
Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.
