macOS 10.12 Sierra

I am unable to print.  I get the following notice "The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed" whenever the copy function is pressed.  I have removed the printhead and cleaned the contact points.  I have disconnected the power cord from printer and wall socket.  I have tried to update the driver.  I have purchased three different printheads.  They may have been reconditioned printheads, I do not know.  However, the results have always been the same with the same notice above.  I would consider buying a HP printhead from HP if I knew that it would work.  I don't want to buy one for $200 plus and still not have it work.  What are my options?

Hi @wrecksc,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As you have already tried all the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
