Hi, I have a problem with a hp officejet pro 8600 that was given to me at startup it shows the error "printer or ink system error" reading this site I have seen that I am not the only one and above all that some users are able to give some tips on how to solve by performing the reset without the "setup" (cartridges that were thrown away when they were empty).
I am waiting for the procedure ... thank you very much.

Hello,
I have got the same model and similar problem as author meaning:
Model - HP OfficeJet 8600 Pro
Product Number - CM749A
Problem - Printer or Ink System Error
I did the Semi-Full Reset because of error and now the Printer needs the Setup Cartridges which i dont have and now i'm calling for help/support to go further to reuse my Printer

I think I have the same problem as well, I cant reset the printer ..the browserinterface do not allow....becourse off the Https ...that is not allowed. I havent access to all the menyes ...and cant find a way out...I cant find a firmware update...that donst say that ..."cant be used". Can you help -Product nr CM749A, Firmware CKP1CN1304AR
