Hi, I am beyond disgusted at this point. I been paying $20 a month for 6 months and support still can't fix my issues. My printr will only print the information page. He went in and tried everything now hp tech support is trying to get me to pay $169 for some worm protection which could be preventing me from printing. This is a new printer. I been wasting ink just printing information pages whit tech support. Please help. I need the information light off.

Hey there! @sharon6345, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand information light on your printer will not turn off and you have issues printing from your printer.
Don't worry I'd like to help you out.
Did you make any changes to your printer?
Please try few steps recommended below.
Reset the printer
Reset the printer, and then try to scan again.
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE:
HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps try updating the printer firmware and check if it helps.
Link to update the printer firmware.
Refer this article to know more information about blinking lights.
Let me know if helps!
Have a beautiful day ahead! 🙂
