Trying to install a new HP Officejet Pro 8025 printer and it's stuck on "INITIALIZING INK SYSTEM" for a LONG time. I've shut down several times and it still won't continue through this. Using the HP supplied ink. Any suggestions?

@TimPA11, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand the printer is stuck at initializing. Leave the printer unplugged for a couple of hours, hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds and try again.
Reset the printer
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.
Reinsert the ink cartridges and make sure the print carriage moves freely.
