Ink cartridge error, incompatible ink cartridge. it is the same cartridge i ave been using since it arrived and now it is being rejected. Its a tricolor ink cartridge only. I have tried to clean it, take it out and insert in its place again but it was all to no avail. Sometimes it accepts it all of a suden and then it rejects it if its a bad day. I would appreciate any help with this.

@Sam_ACCA
Greetings!
Thanks for being a part of the HP Community. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries. I have reviewed your post and I understand, there's an issue with the ink cartridge.
Don't worry I'm here to help! However, for an accurate solution I'll need more details:
1) What is the product number of your printer? Use this link to find it.
(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.)
2) Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?
Please reply with the details for further assistance.
Eager to help!
Have a great day Ahead!

Thank you for your response.
Answer 1. HP Envy 4520 Series.
Answer 2. Yes, I have tried a few steps, restart, clean the cartridge and reinstall etc etc. and nothing like software as i can see the proble lies with the hardware (cartridge).

Sam
