Hello,
What is the exact model of your printer (e.g. CB747A)?
To locate this Product Number P/N: this document.
What operating system are you under? (e.g. Windows 10 or macOS 10.14)
What do you mean by resetting the default cartridge?
If you had a printer with dynamic security enabled in the firmware, you will not be able to use non-HP cartridges (re-manufactured, or with modified chips).
Don't hesitate to contact us in case of need.
