I recently changed my ink cartridges and the printer is recogniing the color cartridges but not the black.  I have tried 3 different brands, turned the printer off and on, cleaned the print head and nothing.  One video I saw suggested replacing the print head, it this my last option?  "Ink system failed,  Unable to copy,  refer to printer documentation, error Oxc19a0020"

Cannot even select clean printhead

@sks41962, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

The use of non-HP ink cartridges is not recommended and may not work. It may damage the printhead of the printer. The ink system failure indicates the printhead has gone bad.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in the article - Resolving 'Ink System Failure', 'System Supply Problem' Errors

 

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
