Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I see hp has regionalized their Ink cartridges. Now I have 3 full boxes of 950/951 ink with no value. I have made several attempts and many hours with Ideal electronics to reset my working printer. They could not reset the printer. Before I make the decision this is just a scam to make me buy a new printer I will make this last reach out for help. Now that I know HP will be making printers non useable at their discretion I can at least make a purchase of printer from an honest company. HP help me believe in you again.

You need to contact your local HP support they can regionally reset your printer so it can accept different region ink cartridges.

I tried the number for HP support. It shows up as Ideal Electronics. Three tries  with no success. Do you have a local HP number available in the 94550 area code?
