I was clearing a paper jam and I lifted a plastic white guide and it snapped off. Can it be connected again, or did I break the darn printer?

@ironart1

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Could you please share the picture of the part?

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello,

This happened to me as well. I have an HP 9015 and when clearing a paper Jam, the white plastic piece broke off. I only bought the printer 5 months ago, and hope there is another option besides replacement.

I've attached the printer pieces. Can you please let me know how to go about fixing this?

Thank you,
