Product: Laser Jet CP1025nw color
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Last night, the printer was insitializing and now it is stuck on the red triangle symbol. The symbol is not flashing. I have unplugged the printer and cords, turned off and on the printer and still nothing is working. 

I am also using the usb cable to connect the printer to my laptop and it is saying printer is not connecting to comp

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand you are getting this error on the printer, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did you make any changes to the settings of your Printer prior to the issue?
  • Could you please share the picture of the red triangle symbol? 

While you respond to that, let's update the printer firmware: HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw Color Printer Firmware
