INKJET 4100

I bought a hp printer. IT came with 6 months of free ink.  I did not really want to use the instant ink subscription but did when it was free. I suddenly realize I was being charged because my free trial had ended. I called to cancel my subscription. A month after i canceled my subscription I was charged over $10. I received no ink during the months they were charging me. So I called to get it refunded. The customer service was absolutely ATROCIOUS. They were very very argumentative. They first refused to refund my money. And then they threaten to turn off the ink in my printer, so I could not use it. Speaking to customer service in such an argumentative way was extremely not pleasant. I did get them to refund one of the charges. But had to hang up out of sheer frustration for being treated like that.  I had to go to my bank to dispute the rest of the charges.

whether instant ink is a better deal than buying it directly or not, I suggest nobody use the service. If anything ever happens, they are the meanest, most vindictive, argumentative bad customer service you will ever come in contact with. It's simply just not worth it.
