My printer started printing something that starts 12345X@PJL SET SRINGCODESET=UTF8 about a month ago even though there is nothing in my print queue and it wont stop. It prints hundreds of pages if I dont shut it off. After being unable to print anything at all anymore I got rid of my printer and bought a new one. Now the new printer is doing the same so now I know the problem is m HP Envy x360 laptop How do I get this to stop????? I have now thrown out a perfectly good $350 printer and $150 in ink and spent another $400+ on new one.

Welcome to HP Support Forum. I think you need to remove the queue. For Windows, please try:
- Hold down the Windows key and press R.
- From the Run window, type services.msc and hit enter.
- If the machine asks for Admin you have to accept this,
- Look down to the print spooler service, right click it and select properties
- Click on the Stop button,
- Browse to C:\Windows\System32\Spool\printers or C:\Windows\System\Spool\printers (this may be hidden)
- Delete the job inside this folder
- Reboot the machine
Regards.
