This LaserJet M139 works wonderful when it works. Windows 11, USB connected, Quit in the middle of a print job and the flashing orange light came on. I have tried the printer doctor, various forums. I have tried the reset by unplugging for 30 secs removing the usb cable. reboot computer. When I send a new print job, it goes thru a short 10 - 15 sec worm up and then nothing. I am plugged into a large surge protector because I had a power surge a few months ago, prior to this computer. Cartridges is good and checked that it was seated. As I said, it stopped in the middle of a print job. No error codes in the window. Green power light is steady. I tried the HP support and it put me in a loop. I ran HP smart ...no help . tbudw@**bleep**
I will have to go directly to HP next.

Hi @tbudw
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like you've been through quite a bit already trying to troubleshoot your LaserJet M139.
Let me suggest a few additional suggestions to see if we can pinpoint the issue:
Check the Orange Light Pattern:
A blinking orange light on your HP LaserJet MFP M139 printer usually indicates a problem with the toner cartridge or a paper jam. Check for jams, ensure the cartridge is properly installed
Clear Print Queue:
Sometimes, jobs get stuck in the queue. Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer, and select See what’s printing. Clear any stuck print jobs.
Check Toner and Paper:
Make sure you have sufficient toner and the paper is loaded properly. A misaligned tray or low toner can trigger an error.
Run the Printer Troubleshooter:
Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
Select your printer, click on Manage, and then click Run the troubleshooter.
USB and Surge Protector:
If possible, try connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet instead of the surge protector. While surge protectors are generally good, they can sometimes cause power delivery issues.
Update or Reinstall Drivers:
Check the HP website for the latest printer drivers for Windows 11. Reinstalling the driver might resolve software conflicts.
Uninstall the current driver, then reinstall the fresh version.
