I bought the 7740 wide format printer in order to print 11x17 material. Maybe I'm just not seeing it but how am I supposed to print on 11x17 paper when the trays are 11x14. They have 11x17 markings in them but I'm pretty sure my 11x17 paper won't fit.
I looked it up in the manual and there were two instances of 11x17 and two instances of wide format. Once in the title and once telling me the printer can accomodate that size paper. Nowhere could I find instructions on loading my 11x17 paper into my printer.
I hope it's something simple.
Waiting to here what that simple solution is.

You need to press the button lower right of tray to pull out the input tray extension.

Lookout for a blue button at the front right of the input tray, both upper and lower trays.
See attached picture.
There is a sign showing 11x17 (A3). Push the button and pull the Tray extension toward you.
The Tray will be extended to fit A3.

@JeffreyZ, after you insert the input tray, the input tray extension remains outside of the printer.
This is normal.
