Hi, I have a HP Envy 4524, I am trying to print on shiny card but it will not feed through the printer. I am just wongering if it is too thick, it is 310 GSM. what would be the maximum thickness I could use?

Hello,
As per product specs document 310 GSM is not supported.
Please click https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-4520-all-in-one-printer-series/5447920/model/8900983/do... to access Product Specification Document .
NOTE : Look under "Paper Handling Specification > Paper tray capacities " section.

Hi,
Is it any special kind of media?
sometimes if the paper or card is too thick it wont be able to pick the paper, so you have to make sure that the right type of media is selected in the printing preferences during printing.
Below is a link which will help you know the supported paper type and specifications.
