Since I bought my MFP3301SDW printer, I've had nothing but trouble printing.  Every few weeks it's something else.  Constantly installing, deleting, reinstalling drivers or unplugging, waiting, and replugging the printer.  They all work for a period and then it stops functioning or fully functioning.  I thought it would be a great printer and it feels like a lemon and that I shouldn't have upgraded from my Brother printer.  Now it thinks Tray 2 is empty after the first page that prints (it's still about 1/6th full), so it asks me to load paper into Tray 1.  If I hit "OK" and don't insert a sheet of paper into Tray 1, it will grab another sheet of paper from Tray 2.  It makes Duplex impossible and I'm constantly hitting "OK".  Help!

... And I periodically get this message ... "Printer error occurred. C1.BF.FC.0B. A critical system error has occurred.  Restart the printer and try again ..."  I restart and it fixes it.  Help!

Is the firmware on the device up to date? The paper tray problem could be that the paper type loaded and configured on the printer does not match the paper size or type that the print job is asking for. How are you connecting to the printer? USB, wired network or wireless network? If networked, you want to ensure that the port type used on the printer driver is a standard TCP/IP port and NOT a WSD port as they are very unreliable.
