Product: hp office jet 6700
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

My printer keeps showing me an error message: missing or failed printhead. What can I do? Also is there a number to call so I can talk to a representative?

@SMcD20, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

I see that the printer is in an error state and I'd recommend you follow the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Printhead to isolate and resolve the issue. 

 

And if the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
