my printer prints clearly BUT only the top half of the page

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

 

Please print a Quality Diagnostic Page and let me know how that prints

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Down Arrow  to scroll to Tools, and then press OK.

  2. Press the Down Arrow  to scroll to Print Quality Report, and then press OK. The printer prints the test page.

I recommend you update the printer firmware following the steps in the below artilce and check if it helps.
