Your device likely requires an update to the DC controller. This is a common issue and I have posted a link to the download here https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/Printer-Error-59-F0-can-t-print/td-p/7447994

Your information is very encouraging but I am on a Mac OS Monterey 12.1

My printer is the Color Laser M452dn so I don't have all of the same prompts and indicators that are on a PC.  I downloaded the update and put it on a flash drive and it's in the printer but the 59.F0 is stil coming on unless I click "OK" on the Setup Menu Stored Jobs.

If your printer has the front USB port for printing you can install directly from the stick. Insert the stick, go to the print from USB menu and select the file as shown in the instructions.

My USB is at the back left corner where the cable is to the internet and the plug to the wall.

I don't have the same prompts on my printer that you show in the instructions for the displays on the other printers so I'm a little confused.

USB on the back left corner is not the same, that is for adding memory storage. In that case you need to send the file to the printer, however I am not sure there are MAC OS instructions. I will see if I can track down a method, but that might take me some time.

The instruction file that is in the link I posted has a section on applying the fix via FTP and this is likely the way you will need to perform the upgrade. Follow the instructions here on how to access FTP on MAC and then use the commands provided in the instructions.

Thank you for your assigned expertise. I looked at the FTP command app and I am concerned that it wants access to all my files?  Does this mean I will always need to open the FTP app if I wish to use my printer?

I appreciate your knowledge and patience.

thank you

You will need to use the FTP app to send the .prn file to the printer or find a friend with a Windows laptop and have then send the file via usb or a command line.
