my envy 6000 series says it cannot print

The printer is able to connect with he computer and the wifi but it says it is not able to print

Are you getting any error messages?

Could you elaborate on the issue for better understanding?

The light on the envy is white/yellow.  The apple MacBook Air tells me that the printer has printed the job but nothing comes out of the printer.

Which version of Mac OS is installed on the MacBook?

Which application are you using to print?

Running macOS Monterey version 12.6.1

i have tried to print by picking the printer under normal printing option.

I have also tried printing on the HPSmart app

This seems to be a driver issue, follow these steps to fix the issue:-

• Uninstall the HP print driver and then install the HP Smart app to set up and use the printer.
• Download and install HP Easy Start from 123.hp.com/setup.
• From the HP Easy Start drop-down menu, select Uninstall HP Software.
• 
• Follow the steps to uninstall all HP software.
• Go to HP Smart - Mac App Store to download and install HP Smart.
