Hi @rmiller7751 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy Photo 7858 printer is stuck on the logo screen and isn't progressing further, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Make sure there are no paper jams inside the printer.
  • Open all access doors and check for any stuck paper.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP support website.
  • If there is an update, follow the instructions to install it.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Factory Reset (if necessary):

  • This should be considered as a last resort, as it will erase all the printer settings.
  • Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
