Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂
I understand that you have an HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer and the i light on it is on and is orange is color. You cannot make the light to go off. I'll surely assist you with this
To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Is the printer able to print and is working fine?
Meanwhile, I did some research and found that you're referring to the "i" light which is known as the information button on the printer. It prints out a printer information page. Press the button in combination with the Wireless button, the Wi-Fi Direct button, or the HP ePrint button to get more specific help pages tied to each of those buttons. Information light indicates that you can press the Information button to get help. Source: Page# 5 of the user guide.
By design, this light is supposed to stay on.
I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to let me know how it goes. Cheers! 🙂
