Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Tango X printer is not turning on, follow these steps.
Check the Power Source
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and a working electrical outlet.
- Try a different power outlet.
- If using a power strip or surge protector, plug the printer directly into the wall.
Inspect the Power Adapter
- Use only the original HP power adapter.
- Check for damage to the adapter or cable.
- If possible, test with another compatible HP power adapter.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Unplug the power cable from the printer and the wall.
- Wait 60 seconds.
- Plug the cable back in and press the Power button.
Check for Signs of Life
- Any lights flickering? Any noises when plugged in?
- If the power light blinks briefly but does not stay on, the power supply may be faulty.
Try a Button Reset
- Unplug the printer.
- Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.
- While holding the button, plug the power cable back in and release the button.
Look for Hidden Power Button
- The HP Tango X has a touch-sensitive power button (on the back left).
- Try pressing and holding it for a few seconds to see if it responds.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
