Product: HP Photosmart Plus 210
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion

I bought new ink cartridges today, at Staples... a full pack of black and 3 colors #564.

 

only the colors work, i'm bummed out... the colors are not as important as the black ink.

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart Plus b210 printer.  Go through all the steps in order.
