The eprint feature has stopped working. I can print from win10 pc or android using HP app. However when I send emails to the printer I get a good return message, but no print comes out.
When I go into the web services on the printer LCD it says "Web services could not be set up at this time". the printer will try again later.
I have tried connecting from its IP address from the directly connected Win10 pc. I get the message that the Web services are running. So I have removed them. Rebooted the printer and re-installed web services via the pc USB connection. They indicate they are again installed and running, but if I go to the LCD on the printer I get the same message that the web services could not be set up.
But the HP instant ink is still working and the HP APP on my android phone can still print to it.

Hi Asmita.
I have read through the extensive Community information, so I have seen and tried all those things.
The issue appears to be the hpeprint emails sent to the printer don't print.
I can print locally from my Desktop pc connected via a USD.
I can print from my Android phone, using the HP App. That shows the printer does have WIFI connectivity.
I have printed out the Network Configuration page. it shows:-
The printer is ready. The active connection is via Wireless. I can see the new Static IP address I set on the printer instead of DHCP. I can use that address from my Desktop and view the printer setup page. (with USB cable disconnected)
In the wireless section of the printout I can see.
It is connected. the SSID it is connected to. (router is 5 feet away). It again shows the IPv4 IP address (same as the static one I set)
Subnet mask and Gateway are correct. I have also changed the primary and secondary DNS server addresses just in case to the Google ones. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
The WIFI direct section has a strange IP address. Not what I would expect as it is not in the same range. i.e. it is 192.168.223.1 but the default gateway is 192.168.0.1
I have no proxy setting and I would suggest that the part about looking at the Win10 settings is not relevant anyway as it works via PC but not via email.
I have tried initiating a firmware update, but it says I have the latest version.
I have tried to logon via the Browser on my pc to the printer and it shows the Web services are enabled. the internet connection is connected and the HP connection to printer is connected. I have even tried removing the Web Services and setting it up again. Which shows as successful.
However If I go to LCD on the printer and select the Icon, it says setup unsuccessful. Web services could not be set up at this time.
As far as I can tell, The printer EWS is not talking internally in the printer. My options would appear to be.
1. Try a different email address (i.e. change the default one)
2. Select and do a full factory reset on on the printer and set up the WIFI etc again.
option 1 seems to be the quickest and easiest, but I am not sure if it will help.
What is really needed would be for a HP employee that is actually on the HPeprint.com email server to see if the emails are being sent on (I assume the emails get to HP first and are forwarded on) and also see what IP address that is sent to. I could then make sure it is my current external IP address (I assume ISP change them all the time)
then perhaps send an email to my printers email address directly from the hpeprint.com server.
thanks
Steve

Appreciate you trying the steps. I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding this issue.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
