really starting to annoy me now, since we purchased a new laptop last year windows 10, everytime now when i go to print, 1 page prints then everything else gets stuck in a print queue, theres no print errors on the printer or on the laptop, if i turn the printer on and off , multiple times nothing happens, or randomly one page will eventually print, 30 mins later, or nothing else pronts at all, it doesnt make a noise, it just sits there waiting for something to print but its not actually doing anything, ive updated the drivers, done a check, looked at the wifi settings, everything says its fine. i dont know if its the printer or the laptop, but its really starting to annoy me trying to print out my graphic design projects.
ive run out of ideas.
cheers, from Jordan.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.
- When was the last time the printer was working fine?
- Are you facing the same issue when you make a copy?
- Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
While you respond to that, I recommend you root uninstall the printer and then reinstall it.
Here is how it is done.
1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the PC
14.) Download and install the printer software from the below link.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hi.
If this happening with the Windows driver, or you installed the full HP software suite for your Officejet 7500 from HP Support - Drivers page?
If it's not the driver, then try to run the automatic troubleshooter from HP: HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows)
If this works please accept as solution and give a like, so you can help other people, too.

It is great to have you back and your patience is greatly appreciated.
Are you facing the same issue when you make a copy?
Meanwhile, I recommend you create a new user account on the computer following the steps in the below article and install the printer and check.

Since you mentioned now that you tried the HP print & scan troubleshooter, is there anything else you did, that you need to mention? I'm trying to help you; until a solution is found print anything urgent one page at a time.

For any success in your troubleshooting, diagnose one step at a time:
Answer yourself: are you using Windows 10 driver (automatically installed when you connected the printer) or the HP suite?
Carefully follow the 14 steps from the excellent advice in the previous reply. With USB cable disconnected from the printer, install or reinstall the designated software suite from HP - other drivers migh use different program code, resulting in issues similar to ones you had.
In Windows - Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers select your printer and verify Printing Defaults, Preferences, driver vendor & version, etc.
If still the same, try resetting the printer to factory defaults. If problems persist, take it to an authorized service center to have it checked.
