HP officejet Pro 8500A 910a

I did renew the CR2032 battery on the formatter board. After that the printer runs during start up in error 0060. All lamps are flashing. Any suggestions what need to be done?

HP does not recommend replacing the battery on the board. This is not a customer-replaceable part.

You may take it to a local store for repair as it is out of warranty or I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Hello,

thank for responding. I understand that hp does not recommend replacing this 10 year old battery. But I did replace the battery and I like to know if the replacement itself cause the error code 060 or if the battery replacement is no problem.

Then it can be rather a connectivity problem when I connected the wires again to the board. Or with other words when a wiring problem exist would that be shown with a different error code?

There is no information about such an error code for this printer.

can you please do me a favor and send me a picture of the board CM755-80003 with all wires / cable connected. It would help me very much.

I'm afraid there is no such picture of the circuit board available because HP does not recommend customers open the printer.

The only guide available is the User Guide
